GDSN validations are part of the international standard and check, among other things, if the field is filled. field. The validations are applied worldwide by all connected data pools. In addition, there are specific validations resulting from agreements made by representatives from the Dutch healthcare industry which only apply to the Netherlands.
Validations on three levels:
- Signalling: the entered data causes a warning, but is not rejected.
- Announcement: a new validation rule that will be converted to an error message in the next release.
- Error message: the input data is rejected because of this validation rules. By an error message, the data will no longer be synchronised with the customer until the error message has been resolved.
